Department of Optoelectronic Technology

Currently, Department of Photoelectric Technology has 28 faculties, and has infrared and night vision technology, materials of optoelectronic devices and testing techniques as the two major research directions. The department currently has seven main research fields. They are theory and technology of infrared imaging electronics, novel mechanism and method of low light level imaging, multi-spectrum composite detection and target recognition, information integration and intelligence, theory and systems of color night vision imaging, materials of semiconductor photoemission and testing techniques, optical imaging and testing techniques, respectively.

In recent years, the department won one second award of Reward of National Science and Technology Progress; two first awards and eight second awards of reward of provincial or ministerial of science and technology progress; applied more than sixty national invention patents, have been authorized more than twenty; published more than two hundred high-level academic papers.
