Bioengineering Department

Bioengineering Department has established National Engineering Center for Research and Promotion of Non-Protein Additive Technology. It has 15 full-time teachers, including 12 persons with senior titles.


The Department has undertaken some national and provincial projects funded by 863 Program, National Natural Science Foundation, etc.


The main research areas of Bioengineering Department include bio-sensing technology, gene recombinant protein peptide drugs, biomedical materials, separation and extraction of biological materials, biochemical and enzyme engineering, development and utilization of microorganism resource, and molecular metabolism.
