Information security is an everlasting topic of information construction, so do smarter city. During the process of the development from digital city to informational city, people keep generating information in production activities. Information form has been more complicated, information transmission speed has become faster, and information dissemination has spread more and more widely. The social is faced with more severe information security situations. It makes tough work for city managers to ensure the legal, safe, orderly utilization of information resource.

Aiming at the forefront of world public security technology, WANG hopes the cooperation between the two universities will meet the needs of urban public safety by attracting and cultivating superior talents
with combined scientific priorities.

The main purpose of Imperial College’s visit is looking for ways to sent innovative talents from R&D centers in Nanjing to Imperial College for further study. At the same time, upgrading the cooperative administrative levels and expanding the cooperative scope, NJUST appeals toImperial College to settle the Center of Research Translation (CORT) on campus.
