See you, American Friends; Hello, Swedish Friends!

A party including students from three countries (United Stated, Sweden, China), was holding in the big room of NUST Trade Union in the evening of June 16th, 2013. It aimed to say farewell to our American friends, and to welcome our Swedish friends. American students had been here for a week’s exchange program, while Swedish students were about to have their exchange program for a month.

Party

Before the party, the volunteers had put all kinds of snacks and drinks on the small round table. And the party began by a Flute show, Gusu City (Suzhou), followed by an exciting game, called Finishing the Bottle of Beer, and Turn It Over. The atmosphere turned heated. While the most beloved programs by foreign students were Chinese traditional Erhu show and Folk dance. They said that they were much different from the dance of their own countries. The next program called Fashion Show, which got highly praise from the attendant members. Then two American female students brought Jazz dance and Gangnam Style to the audience. The games, I Indicate and You Guess and Pass the Water, were also very interesting and involved all participators. The whole crowds were inspired by the games, dances, guitar show, Erhu show, fashion show etc. They were reluctant to leave when the party finished. They took down each other’s email and said goodbye to each other. Two hours are just too short for vigorous youths. (By Jeremy)
