Myanmar High School Graduates Paid a Visit to NUST

On August 25, 2013, a group of Myanmar students led by their teachers came to our university to have a visit. Firstly, deputy director from Division of International Exchanges & Cooperation , Yang Dongmei, held a warm welcome for them. She introduced some NUST’s history, current situation and international student’s policy. The Myanmar group leader, Mr. Colonel, thanked Mrs. Yang for her warm welcome, and then said that these students were all high school students who loved study and performed well in the College Entrance Examination in Myanmar. He also hoped that through this visit, their students could enlarge their vision and have chances to come to China to attend universities.

After the meeting, they paid a visit to Engineering Training Center within the campus. All kinds of works and machines, like concept cars, red point inventions, massage chair, pilotless model airplane etc, fascinated them profoundly. They even operated the remote control of the model airplane pleasantly, which exhibited their strong curiosity.

After the visit, they all expressed that NUST applied theory into practice and was a wonderful university, and hoped that they could have a chance to study here.
