Professor Zhu Yuntian Elected as a Fellow of the Materials Research Society

The Materials Research Society (MRS) elected 2019 MRS Fellow recently. Prof. Zhu Yuntian, director of the Nano-heteromaterials Center of the School of Materials Science and Engineering/Herbert Gleiter Institute of Nanoscience of NJUST, was selected in view of his pioneering work in the field of properties, preparation and mechanism research of heteromaterials and nanostructured materials. This is the fifth fellowship awarded to Prof. Zhu Yuntian after ASM, APS, AAAS and TMS.

MRS, founded in 1973, comprises 16,000 members from more than 80 countries around the world. MRS Fellow is awarded to scientists worldwide who have made outstanding contributions to material research, and only 0.2% of MRS regular members are elected every year at most.
