ISCIDE 2019 Held in Nanjing

The 9th International Conference on Intelligence Science and Big Data Engineering (ISCIDE 2019) was hosted by NJUST in International Conference Hotel of Nanjing from October 17 to 20. The conference offered a platform for a Chinese and foreign scholars exchanging ideas in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data, and etc.


The conference accepted 84 papers from a total of 225 submitted papers, and the acceptance rate is about 37%. The conference papers would be published in the proceedings of LNCS by Springer Press. In addition, 30 papers were recommended to internationally famous journals such as Pattern Recognition, Neurocomputing, Computer Vision and Image Understanding, and The Visual Computer.


The invited lecturers at the conference included Prof. Zhang Xu, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Steve S. Chen, academician of National Academy of Engineering and the Academy of Arts and Sciences, Prof. Xu Lei, academician of European Academy of Sciences, Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang (IEEE Fellow), University of California, Prof. Masashi Sugiyama, University of Tokyo, Prof. Xu dong (IEEE Fellow & IAPR Fellow), University of Sydney, and Prof. Zhang Kun, Carnegie Mellon University.


Attended the conference were more than 200 scholars and graduate students from 50 universities and research institutes, such as Tsinghua University, Zhongshan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, and NJUST,.


During the three-day conference, scholars introduced the latest researches in brain science, deep learning, neural network, visual signal processing, etc.
