BIOGRAPHY

Yang Chuan-Fu was born on 4 April 1968 in LuAn County, AnHui Province, China. In 1989 he received his bachelor of science in mathematics from AnHui Normal University (Department of Mathematics). In 1989-2000 he was a lecturer in ShuangHe High School in LuAn County, AnHui province, China. In 2005 he received the Doctor of Science degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He was an associate professor of the Department of Mathematics in Nanjing University of Science and Technology (2008-2011). Since 2012 he is a professor of mathematics of the Department of Mathematics in Nanjing University of Science and Technology.

Research interests of Yang Chuan-Fu deal with spectral theory, theory of differential equations, inverse problems, etc.

Yang Chuan-Fu has published more than 50 research articles. He has received 8 research grants including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province of China, and the Outstanding Plan-Zijin Star Foundation of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and other research funds. Yang Chuan-Fu is a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt MATH.
