The delegation of University of Strathclyde visits NJUST

On November 28th, Helen Templar, International Project Director of Business School of the University of Strathclyde, and Karen Macgregor, International Project Manager of the school, visited the School of Economics and Management (SEM) of our university.

Wu Peng, Deputy Dean of SEM, and Deng Wenfang welcomed the arrival of the two representatives. The two sides explored the issues of cooperation and continued to deepen the feasibility based on the current cooperation projects (short-term exchanges and 2+2 project of undergraduate joint school).

The two sides finally reached an agreement, which will further develop the 4+1 and 1+1+1 projects of the joint postgraduate education.

Wu Peng proposed to expand academic exchanges and suggested that the University of Strathclyde recommend their excellent teachers to teach and communicate at the School of Economics and Management.

In addition, Helen Templar and Karen Macgregor made a project introduction to the students of the School of Economics and Management.

The short-term exchange program between the two institutes was approved for funding scope of 2018 National Scholarship Council. Two exchange students from the School of Economics and Management have received the funding from National Scholarship Council.
