The proposal submitted by NJUST to the UN Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods on behalf of China was passed

From June 28th to July 2nd, the 58th formal meeting of the UN Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods was held onsite in Geneva and online simultaneously in a synchronized manner. NJUST participated in the meeting as a member of the Chinese delegation.

Xu Sen, Liu Dabin and Zhang Jianxin from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering completed and submitted the standard proposal: ST/SG/AC.10/C.3/2021/19 Revision of section 16.6.1.4.8 of Manual of Test and Criteria (UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Manual of Tests and Criteria), which was adopted after discussion by the participating experts. This is the first explosives-related standard proposal adopted by the United Nations submitted by the Chinese delegation.
